“We purchased the WHOLESUN 3000PSI Electric Pressure Washer for testing and review. Here are our thoughts on the same and read along for the full review.” What Do We Get? Here is a quick walkthrough of the components that you get in the box of this WHOLESUN 3000PSI Electric Pressure Washer. The first thing is the pressure washer itself. The big wheels of the washer help you in easy maneuvering. But if you are taller (over 6 foot), you have to bend over to the side to drag it as the handle is roughly about 27 inches from the ground (just over 2 foot). You might feel that it would be better to lift it and carry rather than drag it. The pressure hose and the power cord are a part of the washer. There is a trigger gun and a spray wand. The model we purchased came with an adjustable spray nozzle. But some models have four or five detachable angle nozzles. The last thing we get is a foam / detergent cannon. Just plug-in the washer to an electrical outlet, connect the water supply to the inlet and use the trigger gun to clean. It is that simple. WHOLESUN did a good job with the overall design of the pressure washer. The 20 feet pressure hose can be neatly rolled into the hose reel. There is also a special place at the back to wound the 33 feet power cord so that it doesn’t flop around when not in use. The only thing that is separate from the washer is the trigger gun and the spray wand. Trigger gun has a push lever to insert the pressure hose. The actual trigger has a lock mechanism, which can be used to prevent accidental trigger. The trigger gun and the spray wand can also be tucked in to the washer at the slots on the side. This makes it very easy to store as a single unit without separating the parts from the washer. Finally, we have to attach the spray wand to the trigger gun. Simply insert the spray wand into the opening of the trigger gun and twist it to lock the wand securely. After all this assembly, we are ready to plug-in the power cord and pressure wash some dirt. Based on all these number, we can easily place this WHOLESUN Electric Pressure Washer in the small – medium range, which is suitable for small cleaning jobs like cars, bikes, driveways, patios, furniture and decks. We performed couple of tests with this pressure washer and let us see the results briefly. For our first cleaning job, we used this pressure washer on a muddy car. When you switch on the unit, the motor starts running but the flow of the water starts only if you press the trigger. This is an important feature, which is called Total System Stop or TSS. It is a type of automatic shutdown feature where the pump is shut off when there is no demand for water pressure i.e., when the trigger is released. After adjusting the angle of the spray at a medium setting, we started to clean the car and the WHOLESUN washer removed the dirt very easily. It in fact cleaned some dried bird poop off the fender, even when the spray angle is not that narrow. For the final test, we swapped the spray wand with the 250ml foam cannon. Initially, I filled the cannon with car wash shampoo. We were surprised by the thick and clean throw of foam on the car. After letting it soak for a couple of minutes, we then rinsed of the remaining foam with spray of water. Grease and dirt around the edges of the door and the handles came off easily.
