Build Quality, Design and Form Factor
Mega 5.8 has the same kind of plastic build quality as you might have seen on other samsung phones and it terms of the look and feel it looks like a big enlarged Samsung S4. On the back we have a plastic back cover which is more glossy in the black version. The design is like any other samsung galaxy phone nothing exceptional or changed on this one. In terms of form factor this is device is larger to hold but its not too big if you are ok with the size of Note 2. It weighs around 182 gram has a thickness of around 9 mm and both of these values does not make it too heavy or bulky device, it can be easily perceived as bigger display phone + tablet.
Display, Memory and Battery Backup
The display of this device is something which we did not liked much, however its brighter than other galaxy phones but colors does seem to be faded out a bit some times, its not the like the colorful AMOLED display which you might have seen on other devices. The in built memory is 8Gb on this device out of which you get 5Gb approx to the user and you also have the MicroSD card slot to expand the storage, however you cannot install apps on the SD card unless you root the phone. The Battery backup is approx one day we played Dead Trigger on the device and the battery dropped around 8% in with one hour of game playback.
Software, Benchmarks and Gaming
The software UI is Nature UX UI which is running on top of android makes things easy if you are used to it, but it can never be that snappy as vanilla android experience. The benchmark scores are given below and gaming wise it is a good device which can almost the low and high graphic intensive games. Benchmark Scores

Sound, Video and Navigation
The sound form the loud speaker is loud and clear but the bass levels are not that good, the quality of the sound through ear phones is really good. This device can play HD videos both at 720p and 1080p without any audio video sync issues on this device. The device can be used for Navigation as well with the help of assisted GPS but make sure to enable the same under location settings.

Conclusion and Price
Mega 5.8 is available for a price of Rs. 22900 right now which is quite worth the money you can get a pretty big display, however the color quality of the display is not that good and it viewing angles are also not that wide but everything else is good enough to give you great experience to you in day to day usage. This device the plays the role of the tablet and phone quite well and its not that big to hold or carry Huawei Ascend Mate or Mega 6.3 is and its also cheaper than both of them but has a slightly lesser display size.
