This display would be sourced from well-known manufacturer JDI, and will have a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels which will account for a pixel density greater than 400ppi. Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus also said that the company initially thought of having a 5 inch display on the OnePlus One, but then changed their mind. This display will come with some added tech which according to OnePlus would make it much more power efficient. Instead of the usual OGS, the OnePlus One will come with TOL (Touch On Lens) modules, which according to the company allows for far greater robustness, 300% to be precise.

This was done in order to exaggerate on the fact that the OnePlus One’s 5.5-inch screen is packed in a body of a 5-inch phone.
